My Dear Co-Parishioners of St. Andrew's,
It has given me great delight over these many years and I am indeed very happy to
continue to be with you, the parish family of St. Andrew's, as your pastor.
If we closely look at ourselves, we will find out that there is within us a certain ancient
evolutionary force that drives us to seek for more. We are never quite satisfied with
what we have. Enough is never enough. We seem to have a built-in desire to know

more, to possess more, to experience more. We are always striving to attain just a little bit more - a little more wealth, a little
more freedom, a little more love, a little bigger home, a little better relationship, and a little better parish. There is, of course,
something good about this quality, which assures human progress. At the same time, it is important to recognize how we have
been programmed so that we can control the insatiable demands and step off the treadmill to appreciate what we have right
here and right now, no matter how small or how big it is.
This new website created from the generous heart of a parishioner by the name of Cip Andrada, offers us an opportunity to be
thankful for what we have here at St. Andrew’s. We are blessed with so many wonderful members. We have seen them in
church, greeted them, talked, volunteered, laughed and worshipped with them. This website gives us a glimpse into the
liturgical life and even faces of St. Andrew’s parishioners and parish. We are a vibrant, welcoming, dynamic and singing
community of people coming from many different lands, speaking different kinds of languages. This website mirrors the
strength, unity, cooperation and concerted effort of many dedicated parishioners and hard-working volunteers, spearheaded
by the Priests, Staff, Finance & Parish councils and many other parish organizations and ministries. From the bottom of my
heart, I would like to express my deep gratitude to all of them and to all of you for going out of your way to be part and parcel of
our new parish website.
I pray that the Good Lord, through the intercession of our Blessed Virgin ‘Mama’ Mary and our patron Saint Andrew, may
continue to shower this faith-filled, worshipping community in the little corner of Daly City His love, His joy and His peace.
